African Thatch Hot Tub Gazebos
Gazebos are no doubt one of the most relaxing places to enjoy your garden. One of the reasons many people purchase a gazebo is to house their hot tub or spa.
If you are looking for something a little more out of the ordinary than the normal 'bland' designs of traditional hot tub gazebos and enclosures then you have come to the right place.
Our exclusive range of African thatched hot tub gazebos come in many different shapes and styles, manufactured specifically to accommodate both small and large hot tubs. Our hot tub gazebos offer you a private place to enjoy your hot tub all year round, whatever the weather. Choosing the right hot tub gazebo or enclosure will, without doubt enhance both your hot tub and garden.
Our gazebos and enclosures are specifically designed to provide shelter and seclusion for your garden hot tub or spa. They are crafted from the finest Redwood timber and will compliment the majority of hot tub cabinets. The traditional open-sided gazebos are wonderful for the warmer summer months and allow for uninterrupted views across your garden. For additional protection from the elements and for total privacy choose from a selection of either timber log or canvas side panels. The canvas side panels offer versatility in that they can be rolled up during the summer and rolled down during the winter or when the hot tub is not in use.
South African Cape Reed Thatch Tiles:
The circular or oval gazebo roofs are covered with genuine South African cape reed thatch tiles, which create a distinctive stepped appearance. South African cape reed is harvested from a replenishable, renewable resource and harvesting the thatch actually promotes growth. Cape reed thatch tiles are durable, have a long life span, and offer natural aesthetic beauty. The totally unique natural thatch reed tiles are environmentally friendly and will offer years of beauty and service. The thatch itself has a 20 year life span.
Wooden Poles:
The number of poles used and the pole sizes are dependent on the size of the thatched gazebo chosen. All timber poles are pressure treated with Tanalith `E` wood preservative. To ensure maximum weather protection all timber poles are additionally `double soaked treated` in Cuprinol `Golden Brown` wood treatment preservative.
Thatch Gazebo Construction:
All timbers (including poles) used for the construction of our thatch shelter are made from premium Douglas Fir Redwood Timber. Douglas Fir Redwood is considered the "Rolls Royce" of softwoods and is a more durable, slower grown and stable wood. It has excellent strength and does not warp or shrink like other softwoods such as pine, cedar or fir.
