Once you have decided to enhance your garden with an African thatched structure, there are some key factors that you need to take into consideration: If you are going to use your thatched structure mainly as a place to admire the scenery, you will want to put it in a place where you can obtain the best view. Once you have determined the best location, you can then review the size of your chosen thatched structure to ensure suitability. If you are planning on positioning the structure against a fence or a wall, make sure you allow sufficient room around the structure for access.

Each thatched bbq, garden or hot tub canopy canopy can be easily assembled in a matter of a few hours using only basic tools.

No specialist knowledge is required and it is simply a matter of fixing the various components together. The timber poles should either be concreted into the ground or inserted into a timber deck to securely support the garden canopy structure. The timber poles are supplied in 2.4m lengths to allow a proportion of the supporting timber poles to be inserted into the ground.

Again the thatched gazebos can be easily assembled in a matter of a few hours using only basic tools. All componets are precut to ensure a snug fit. The thatched gazebos can be supplied with an optional timber base and floor if required. The timber base and floor is supplied prebuilt in either 2 or 3 sections (depending upon the structure size). It is essential that you position the thatched gazebos on a on a firm flat level surface. Ideally the surface should be either a gravel, hardcore, stone, concrete, tarmac, patio or timber decking area.
